Diabetes plan
Metformin on automatic refill, HbA1c you are actually reminded to do, and a doctor who co-manages it if you are also on a GLP-1.
Metformin ± GLP-1 co-management
Type 2 diabetes is managed on numbers you have to go and collect, which is why so much of it drifts. This plan ships the medication every thirty days and chases the tests — the HbA1c reminder is the part members say makes the difference.
If you are on the weight programme as well, the same doctor runs both. That matters: tirzepatide lowers blood glucose, and nobody should be adding it on top of existing diabetes medication without someone watching the interaction.
Metformin reduces glucose production in the liver and improves how sensitive your muscle tissue is to insulin. It does not push your pancreas to make more insulin, which is why it does not cause hypoglycaemia on its own and why it remains the first thing almost everyone is put on.
What most people get, and the bit that matters
This list is not exhaustive and does not replace the consultation. The intake form asks the questions that decide it, which is why the honest answers matter more than the fast ones.
Often yes, and it is a common combination — but it is co-managed by one doctor who adjusts both, not two prescriptions running in parallel. Tell us at intake if you are already on diabetes medication.
We remind you and refer you to a partner lab; the test itself is done there. The result comes back to your doctor and is reviewed with you.
Label artwork is shown composited on a stock 3 mL vial photograph for design approval only; it is not a photograph of dispensed stock, and lot and expiry values are placeholders. Production labels carry the real batch number, expiry, pharmacy details and NAFDAC registration where applicable. Prescription-only medicines are dispensed by a PCN-registered pharmacy after a consultation with an MDCN-registered doctor. Prices are indicative and subject to exchange-rate movement — confirmed at checkout.
