GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding peptide that falls sharply with age. It is used for follicle health, skin firmness and wound healing, and it is the only thing we prescribe in this category.
Be clear about the evidence: the topical and wound-healing research is reasonable, the injectable hair research is thin, and most of what circulates online is extrapolated from cell studies. Your doctor will tell you which of those applies to what you are treating before you pay for a cycle.
It binds copper and delivers it into tissue, where it is involved in collagen and elastin synthesis and in the signalling that moves a follicle from resting into a growth phase. The plausible mechanism is not the same thing as a proven outcome, and we treat it as a twelve-week experiment with a defined stopping point.
